Default Wrangler TJ - Wanted To Buy

Looking to buy a Wrangler TJ. 6 cylinder, auto, not red, a/c, no frame rot.
(No offense to red Jeeps! This is for my wife and that's her preference!)

    Any leads would be great,

    Thanks!

    Hey Aaron,

You looking for something stock or modified? Just so we can better help with the search.

I also moved this thread into the "Want to buy" section, may get more attention there.

Awesome! Thanks! Didn't realize there was a spot for this.
Mostly stock is what I'm looking for. A mechanically sound good reliable daily driver that hasn't seen too much off road

My local dealer has one, I checked it out when I was in there picking up our new 4xe. It's a 5-speed though. It's pretty darn nice, supposedly 1 owner and low miles. I don't know if it's $22k nice but these aren't exactly getting any younger. If you'd like me to check it out for you let me know - and if you're actually interested tell them I sent you, we've bought upwards of 20 vehicles from them over the years.

The AX-15 is an "HD" transmission?! That must be why mine is holding up to a v8 so well!

That thing looks pretty cherry, but I agree that I couldn't bring myself to spend 22k on a TJ.
'99 TJ, 5.9L Magnum V8 swap, Atlas-4, Waggy 44s, Custom link susp F/R, 37" Pitbulls, etc etc etc, OMG what happened to all of my money?
She may not look like much, but she's got it where it counts, kid. I've made a lot of special modifications myself.

TJ used the NV3550 from '00 (I think) through '04. Supposed to be stronger than ax15. I know mine was bulletproof.
'05 brought the finicky and frustrating 6 speed nsg370.

    Correct!
Traction, articulation, and gearing make a good off-road rig. Just a tall lift, big mud tires, winch, and a light bar simply do not.
Why buy a Wrangler if you don't take the top and doors off?
    ~Shawn(the correct spelling ;)
