Just wanted to thank Guy for letting me borrow his external speaker when my Cobra's speaker died out. Hope Thomas had a great time!

    Thanks for the spotting!

Things got much smoother and more comfortable the more I drove. Having never done anything like this I ended the trip feeling pretty happy with the Xterra and excited to do more.

I did learn that when you say "...or you can see how far you make it on your own" is not a dare to follow your line.

It was a great trip, glad to meet everyone there! Sorry, I kept keeping my phone in the 4Runner and I don't have any new photos to add to the thread. Looking forward to seeing you guys on the trail again soon!

    Default Saw you guys!

First post on this forum, but I saw your convoy in Canaan, NH! You guys drove by Canaan Motor Club and I was attending a track day. I was in a black nissan 350z on the road to get some gas after running my tank almost dry on the track. I saw a white 5th gen 4R (have a black one myself). Anyways, funny because I was looking into some mild trails and stumbled across this forum board and stumbled across this thread!

I was in the orange Jeep pulling the trailer at the back of the line. We saw your car and another car and were trying to figure out where the track was. That is pretty cool.

You are more than welcome to join us on some trail rides. Your 4 Runner will do fine on the stock stuff until you get some armor and push it on harder terrain.

The girlfriend was like "a racetrack?" And I was like "yeah, that's where I had my senior prom."

Glad to hear you guys had a great trip. We ran into you on a class VI somewhere during day 2 IIRC. We had the guy on the BMW motorcycle with us.

It was great running in to you guys! I believe your friend on the bike said you all just graduated college and decided to take the trip, congrats! We all somehow chose a perfect weekend for it. Hope the rest of your adventure went well.

Didn’t do the whole TXNH trip but did parts of it as well as some roads in VT. Got some pictures but not as many as I’d like since I was driving most of the time. First time driving off road for real and it was a blast, can't wait to do it again. Next up lift and skids.
