    Thumbs up

I can't believe this hasn't sold yet, but it is tax return season ;)
    So again, good luck Ryan!!
Traction, articulation, and gearing make a good off-road rig. Just a big lift, wide mud tires, and a winch simply do not.

I wish I could! I'm in no position to switch vehicles right now, though.

Yeah, this seems to be a good deal. It is already a Rubicon, but it has the 42RLE automatic transmission, which means for another $1,700 you can install the Advance Adaptors giving you 2.72:1, 4.0:1 and 10.88:1 low ranges!

You have to know Paul, there's no such thing as a crawl ratio that's too low.

This was always my thought with the future of my 08 Rubicon until it got killed.

    5.13s?

Give that man one white chip.

But seriously, you change your final drive to restore highway driving speeds. When you put big tires on your rig you can make the engine drop out of its power band. Your top (5th,4th) gear is now useless. You downshift to second from top (4th,3rd) just to be able to cruise at highways speeds that you used to do in fourth.

Now let's compare Agnes with the rig for sale, Agnes is on the left.

She's she'll out crawl it all day long.

Now lets compare the rig for sale with the rig for sale with the rubi-crawler. (Rubi crawler is on the left)

You need low gearing for rock crawling. If you crawl you break less stuff. (Except you still can, but you need to be careful.)

This rig can be fantastic. (Note, it isn't shabby with out it, buy it and save your pennies.) I would have been all over this rig years ago. I have no idea why this hasn't sold.

Ahhh, I was talking about the typical stick shift, but the same applies. Except your 4th gear is useless, and that's really bad in an automatic. I test drove a rubicon auto (Rubi Shara LJ!) and he had put 33s or 35s on and not re-geared, it was pathetic on the highway.

I guess a better way to phrase it would be that your top gear is useless.

As it stands you have a great rig. I have no idea why it hasn't sold yet. The cool thing is that for about $2k more you can have an exceptional rig. I really wish I was in the market for jeep now.

Of course you can. How was it before you regeared?

Dude, I'm trying to help you sell your rig. I'm not the enemy here.

Yes before regearing 4th gear was a dog.

Your post read like it would still be a dog after gearing it.
