    Default Superwinch LP8500

$299 with free shipping on Amazon right now.

Not sure it this is the new permanent price point, or just a temporary deal. A lot of people really like these winches.

$10 cheaper and 500 ponds more:(LINK) and was on of the two winches that survived the shootout and was awarded "best value": (LINK ;)
Traction, articulation, and gearing make a good off-road rig. Just a tall lift, big mud tires, winch, and a light bar simply do not.
Why buy a Wrangler if you don't take the top and doors off?

That review is lame on so many levels

I've never heard of Engo but for $10 more, I think I will take the Superwinch. They will probably be around to honor the warranty in 3 years, if I need it.

Where was SmittyBilt in the test? I would take a Smittybilt over an Engo right now. Maybe in three years if Engo proves themselves it will be different.

Read the article! Smittybuilt was scared (Like Skibum about hard trail--lol.) and Engo already proved themselves and they have been out for a while and they are all over the forums.

I would rather have them not advertise and be unheard of to keep them cheap as apposed to a make like Warn $$$

Two of my friends have them--so far, so good :)

I would use my 4' farm jack over a Smittybuilt, lol. But I do like the Superwinch stuff and I was just giving people options. It's not like I am getting commission from Engo ;)
