Traction, articulation, and gearing make a good off-road rig. Just a tall lift, big mud tires, winch, and a light bar simply do not.
Why buy a Wrangler if you don't take the top and doors off?

Are you interested and trying to talk me down? Or are you just trying to break the rules newbie? Oh and just for the record these are from Steve's and that's how much they cost me! V.I.P. had them that cheap but they will strip because of their soft, shallow, and coarse threads(ask me how I know), so they won't hold torque. And another thing, do you really think that I don't know all those places and more....seriously? At least I can spell Quadratec ;)

That was pretty harsh... but I agree I wouldn't trust anything from VIP. Can't say from experience on a D35 but u-bolts for my Bronco when I had that were around $90. Figured that was about going price, then again a D35 isn't quite as heavy duty. I have no need to price them... yay for coil springs :)

Little Jeep - 1997 ZJ Grand Cherokee, 4.0 I6. Completely stock.

I tried to make it less harsh at the end though--do I get credit for that (trying)?
