Default Snow Wheeling - Mt Mud Run

We went up to Mountain Mud Run last weekend and gave the truck a good thrashing in the snow. Everything went well, The Rockers were awesome in the snow. They seem to have a great balance between making progress without digging holes. Well, until I try second or third and find out that was the wrong answer......

    plowing through

    lots of flotation

doing some snow crawling on the downhills and flats

    Breaking trail....uphill

    Making bad decisions

Lots of pulling TSL's out of their holes :P

    Grilling up lunch!

Floor boards MAY have gotten a little warm during the thrashing
Guess it's about time to do something about the exhaust being too close to the floor.

Someone needs to invent a word that means "awesome" and "insane" at the same time! Next time you do this, you should sell tickets. Those are the best vehicle-adventure clips posted on YouTube in a year! At least for those of us that live where it snows. I kept thinking "Man, if they get BOTH rigs stuck in the back acres, we won't find their bodies until May . . ."

    Cool

Glad I did not go with my little 33's, but still looks like "fun" :)
Traction, articulation, and gearing make a good off-road rig. Just a big lift, wide mud tires, and a winch simply do not ;)

    That looks like good time!
'99 TJ, 5.9L Magnum V8 swap, getting a whole lotta love this winter. Atlas-4, Waggy 44 swap, 3-link/4-link, 37" Pitbulls, maybe some coilovers or air struts? Stay tuned!
She may not look like much, but she's got it where it counts, kid. I've made a lot of special modifications myself.
