    Default A Londoner's LR4

    Hello all on ExploringNH!

Here is my daily driven (not originally intended) LR4 that happens to make its way up onto the trails in NH / MA / VT on a somewhat regular basis. Having moved from Britain, I decided to pick up a new automotive hobby, and off-roading became it. I've had the 2010 LR4 since Spring 2017, done over 27,000 miles on it and have slowly worked on it myself to bring it up to what it's become - a still mostly stock Land Rover!:

    2010 LR4 5.0 V8 HSE
    • Original air height adjustable suspension
    • Center / rear locking differential

    New bits:

    • Atturo MT tyres
    • Upgraded EBC brake pads
    • Full size spare
    • Roof rack with aux fuel tank, track boards and hi-lift jack
    • Ladder
    • Front 'spotter' camera
    • Rock sliders with compressor guard
    • Deleted 1 resonator (Happy V8 noises)

Thank you for all the inspiration!!!

Great looking LR4. I had a an LR3 for a while, it was a great all around truck. I would highly recommend a gap diagnostics IIDtool if you plan on working on it yourself. I found that an extremely helpful tool to have. Lucky8 Has them.

Thank you! I've been looking to getting one of those, and also from Lucky8 - I got my rock sliders from them. I think I will when it inevitably becomes time for me to replace parts for the air suspension - which is probably the minute after I've typed this message. I was going for an LR3 initially, but then found a good deal on the LR4. Would love to see the RRCs on the trail some day, my last neighbour in London had a two door RRC, brilliant things :)

Pretty rare back in Britain too! My neighbour's one was the same colour as this one (but obviously not the same drive train!) : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IGjOY4JBmy4&t=

    At least the 3rd.

I have a 2006 LR3 (stock except for all terrain tyres) and a 2001 Disco 2 which is being set up for off-road. I've had the LR3 (known here as the Rolling Living Room) since 2010. The Disco, AKA Black Widow, joined my menagerie in July this year. Haven't had her off road yet. Needs tyres and her oil addiction dealt with.

Not sure if I count as a Brit still, since I'm now an American citizen...

You were the 3rd I was thinking of.

We had a 4th but I heard he passed. RIP Jimmy (bootit).
