Default New Member from Newton, NH

New member here from a small town in Southern NH called Newton (right near Plaistow). Recently purchased a 2016 4Runner and my wife and I have been slowly building it up in hopes of taking it cross country some day. This is my first SUV/4x4 vehicle and I'm totally new to the offroad scene. Was previously an active autocross racer (miata/subaru/audi/etc..) but was forced to buy something more practical for home ownership. I'm big into mountain biking and hope to merge these two hobbies together. My wife is 100% onboard with this new found hobby which is a huge plus.

Joined this site to help break the ice into the offroad scene and learn the in's and out's on what's legal or not in terms of roads and camping spots.

It may be practical, but that truck will do just about anything you want. And the after market support is really good. Welcome!

    Cool

    Hello and welcome Matt!

    Another mountain biker :)
Traction, articulation, and gearing make a good off-road rig. Just a big lift, wide mud tires, and a winch simply do not ;)

Just signed up for the stock class! Will be nice to get out and learn from those who know what they're doing since I'm a complete newbie to this.
