There's an online pdf that shows check in is 5-7 PM Thursday July 13. Ram Head parking lot, adjacent to Snowshed Lodge. Other notes, 37" tire size MAX, CB mandatory.

I won't be going, but some friends will be there as guides. The thought of going to check out the builds is interesting though.

They also queue up for mandatory drivers meetings at 830 AM Friday and Saturday, so anothet opportunity to check them out then. Likely many will be in the lot before then as breakfast starts at 630 each day.

I tried to save the above mentioned pdf to Dropbox, see if this link works for you.

    Beth and I are going!

We had a blast at the Coal Mountain one last year, so I was in front of my computer waiting when they went on sale. I guess they sold out in like 20 minutes. Geez.

My itinerary says the same, Thursday afternoon 5-7.

Tons of rigs. Can't believe this many spots were sold in like 30 minutes.

Trail guide was trying to scare me about the trails I chose. Got a feeling my baby is gonna get her butt kicked tomorrow.

Nice pic, wanted to buzz out there after work but had stuff to do at home. Like Scott said, would be a good chance to get some ideas for the future of mine.
You hitting one of the harder groups I assume? I will say, the rain makes things real slick out there on those ski trails. Never been on those, since I've never done a JJ. Been on most of the stocker and maybe moderate ones, the ones they use the Class IV roads for.
One of the members here is a guide, he's the one with the screaming chicken on the hood of his tj rubicon unlimited. Wendall. Great guy.
Have a great trip, be waiting for the pics so I can be properly bummed lol.
Oh, I should add, the rains last weekend really hammered a few areas in Vermont, not sure about that area, but if so even the stocker/mod runs could be a blast

Yeah, like the one in PA we did last year, I went for the hard runs. Go big or go home, right? I treated it as an offroading class.

I've been on a couple runs with Wendell, I recall drooling on his LJ on more than one occasion.

Got a couple decent photos besides that one from the lineup.

For anyone that's done that Jamboree before, I did Timberjack on day 1, and Bullwinkle on Day 2. I guess it rained most of the week before and some of the time during the Jamboree, so the trails were MUUUUDDY.

Nice bumpy hill on Timberjack. Just gotta send it.

I actually broke my transmission mount a couple hours after that photo was taken. Strapped the tranny in place to get off the mountain, got the woman back to the hotel, and drove over to Napa in Rutland for the parts like this.

    Yup, she's toast.

    Totally normal.

    Not sketchy.

Day 2, some obvious signs that we're wheeling in a ski area, which was very cool.

I wonder why they call it "Picture Rock"

Driving around on Sunday morning before we left, spotted a Jeep belonging to one of our high school teachers from Mass. Had no idea he was there. Left a note and we got back in touch, cool situation.

Also saw a Brute Conversion TJ, never saw one in person before.

When people ask me why I don't put shiny, expensive rims on my Jeep.

I dismounted the tire and hammered the crap out of it until it was kinda straight, then put it back on. Good as new.
