Default Another Casual Snow Run Anyone? Saturday, February 1 Pictures and Reports

Hey, it was a really interesting day! We had a great group of people and I think enough challenges for everyone. Thanks everyone for coming out to play with me. Thanks Ryan for breaking through the walls, and everyone who pulled winch lines and chipped away at ice walls. I'll work on pictures tomorrow. Please post yours here.

Lots of fun today. Big thanks to the winchers, exploringnh hosts and guides, the snow plow (the beast!) and to Jan for arranging and leading the run. This was so different from the fall run. We're lucky to live in an area where we can do this.

I posted photos on dropbox. If anyone has privacy concerns or doesn't want an image up just let me know.

Good thing you just had a handful. Otherwise I'd be here all night! Great pics and videos Jay. Thanks for posting up so quickly. I like the "unedited" videos complete with comments. Nice job.

Wow! Great pictures. Andrew, you really have a great eye. I like the way you capture the intensity of the drivers by catching the face in the outside mirror. Thanks for capturing so many great moments of the day.

Why did I have to have back surgery? This is not making me happy. Great pics and it looks like an incredibly fun day. Thanks for the pics.

Andrew, What Jan said! Excellent job! I realized I never took any pix of my rig thanks to you for catching all of us "in-action"!

Paul, You'll be back at it before you know it... and much more comfortable too! ;)

    Hope all is well.

Those pictures are great! What a great way to spend a day. Is that new damage on the L/R of the ExploringNH Expedition?

Drivers side rear quarter, near the brake light, has always been dented. It did see some new damage from an ice bank on the passenger front door though. I'll take photos tomorrow in the light. It's not bad enough for me to bother fixing.

This looks like it was a fun snow run. Thanks for sharing the pics - especially Shawn winching the School Bus with nothing more than brute determination and a strap!

Shawn did a lot of winching, strapping, and pulling yesterday. I like this one of him walking my Jeep on a leash.

Those are great pictures. Looks like fun had by all! Bonus was you all didn't have to deal with temps in the single digits. I have to agree........ the Excursion braking through the snow bank is nice "action" shot.
