Two days ago Dad let me use his bike around some back roads here. I've never felt so unsafe in my life. The throttle response, having no idea what gear I'm in after 2nd, stalling it out, bucking it when taking off, and just having nothing to protect me if I were to get hit (other than my helmet) just freaked me out. The biggest thing worrying about other drivers. While on the back roads I only came across one other vehicle at a stop sign and kinda panicked. I got to thinking about all the people paying more attention to their radio, cellphones, and kids in the backseat not looking where they're going. :ack

I've got people telling me its good that I decide on my own that riding a motorcycle isn't for me, but I can't help but feel ashamed. i know she does have a garage.she told me when i thought of renting that.."you rent a room,you get use of the house.." which includes attic,basement and garage for storage..she does her own plowing so no worries about getting out of driveway..

funny thing she mentioned..she'd prefer a male renter cause she says,Women are winy..she does live out in the woods where the critters roam..she had a bear come in her back yard twice a couple weeks ago..

Did I mention it was hot?

DOVER, N.H. -- A New Hampshire high school student shocked so severely in shop class that his heart stopped beating is suing his teacher, the school district and the city of Dover.

Kyle Dubois and his parents claim teacher Thomas Kelley did not warn Dubois and other students of the dangers of the electrical demonstration cords in their electrical trades class.

On March 11, Dubois attached an electrical clamp to one nipple while another student attached another clamp to the other. A third student plugged in the cord.

Dubois was critically injured.

The New Hampshire Union Leader says Dubois' suit contends he suffered permanent brain damage.

Kelley resigned from his teaching position about a month after the incident. This is the 4th annual Frostbike ride put on by the mens AUX of V.F.W. Post 6055. This year we are dedicating all proceeds to Lori Bonneau, a veteran of Operation Desert Storm. Lori needs our help to defray the costs from a condition she has called Amyloidosis. She will be out of work for 3 to 4 months while she undergoes Chemotherapy and Stem cell replacement therapy. The event is October 16th 2010 and ride registration starts at 9 AM. There is also a horseshoe tournament. Tickets are $20 per person. Purchase of a ticket will get you into the event (and ride if you ride) dinner (chicken, pasta, salad and rolls) and enter you into the grand prize drawing for an Apple iPad.
